Maybe a small thing to you but I dont want to invest and hour doing the upgrade. This may seem irrational but I want them to do it and "certify" when it leaves the factory versus me doing it over the internet
Of course they certify that the computer has the latest OS when it leaves the factory, they don't install an old OS.
They can't certify when they're gonna sell it though.

Maybe computers just aren’t for you.
That's a stupid thing to say considering I spent 40 years in the computer industry and sold over 1 billion dollars of computers, managed services and computer related services. Any more needless, sarcastic garbage you want to spew?

Then all that experience and knowledge should be enough for you to understand that what you want here is nothing but absolutely ridiculous. That's not how the tech world works, deal with it.

Sorry for the brutal honesty.

Yeah, some whining on my part, but I always had technologists and computer scientists on my team to take care of my personal computer

None of that makes a difference to what you're complaining about. That's not how things will ever work.

So really you could have been working in ANY industry, and your weird brag response was kinda irrelevant. (And that's being generous and assuming it was actually true)

It further goes to show how little subject matter expertise can sometimes be found in sales or management.
And how little money can be found in a technical career. So replaceable....a dime a dozen. I used to feel sorry for the tech geeks on my teams. Just shut up and fix my computer

Since you're so fabulously wealthy, maybe you can just buy a new Mac a few weeks after each OS update. Then you'll never have to worry about wasting your time doing it yourself

Or hire a computer valet. Better yet, start a computer valet service and market it to others.

At this time I'm just shocked because I thought his majesty would naturally have a direct and privileged contract with Apple Inc. to provide him with new material as soon as there's a minor OS update. I would assume that someone so important to not get his hands dirty would have some inside ways to assure the fulfilling of his needs, maybe around a fancy meal of caviar and lobster with Tim Cook himself, right? After all, Apple should kindly shut up and fix his majesty's computer.
