How Do I figure Out Which Screen Brand I have?

I keep seeing threads on the screen being LG or Samsung and so on, but how do you interrupt that number to know what brand it is? Anyone care to elaborate please

See the first post here. If it comes back LTH-something, you have a Samsung. If it comes back LP-something, you have an LG Philips.

LT = Samsung
