Happy Fourth of July to everybody who celebrates this date.

I am hoping somebody can help me out with this. I have a sleep schedule set so that my alarm goes off every weekday morning at 7 AM. on my series 7 watch. even with the alarm schedule, I will manually turn on sleep focus through the control center of the watch.

However, on some days, like this morning where I can sleep in a bit, I do not want the alarm to go off the next morning, so I go into the alarm section on my series 7 watch in hit the skip for tonight option.

Unfortunately, I find that when I do that, when 7AM comes, sleep focus will turn off. The alarm will not sound but sleep focus will turn off. This allows notifications and other alerts to come through on the watch.

So I was hoping someone could tell me how to make sure sleep focus stays on indefinitely while I have skipped an alarm. Maybe it’s not possible, but I thought I was able to do that previously. I am running watch OS version.9.5.2.

I hope this makes sense and thank you for any thoughts.

Simply trying to change wake up time just for one night before going to bed? I think should move forward sleep focus too.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure exactly what you mean by changing the wake up time, but if it's what I think it means, that would e a bit of a PIA. I guess the easiest thing to do for now is to just not use sleep focus when I want to sleep late and use Do Not Disturb instead.

Don’t know exactly how to explain, my watch and phone are not in English so maybe I don’t translate right and I can’t screenshot. That ‘s the way I set wake up alarms and sleep focus should be on the way.

Health-> Sleep times -> I change sleep times it prompts me if I want to do it just once for the next wake up or change the weekly schedule. I do it just once and put something like 11am wake up time I’m sure I’ll be up by the time. More recently I did the sato set a 5am alarm instead to catch an early morning train. Can be done both on the watch sleep app and on the phone Health app.

I never go to sleep, wake up or sleep on a schedule, so that entire feature is useless to me.

I use the regular Alarm feature instead of the Sleep Schedule, and (unfortunately) manually activate Sleep focus when I go to bed and disable it when I wake up.

There could've been a way to automate this using Shortcuts app Automations, but Apple allow you to use every available Focus mode EXCEPT Sleep through it. Literally trolling SMH.
