I have just installed Snow Leopard and most of my old apps are working fine, my only real problem is that I like to have the green zoom button actually maximize my windows when I click it, and not just randomly resize it to whatever it thinks is best.

on Leopard I would use the application called ZoomRight
http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/30591
which would force the button the maximize every time, This application doesn't work on Snow leopard unfortunately.

Does anyone know of an app, or plugin or whatever that can achieve this in Snow Leopard? would be great thanks.

And please spare me the "why would you wanna maximize?" or "I don't understand why you would want to have your windows fill out the entire screen" blah blah.. I like browsing and using word in fullscreen mode, just works better.

I use the same program and it is working for me, try removing the program and download and install it again.

My not hurt to ask the developer to update the app. I use and love it to hope it stays up to date. SL comes tomorrow...
