Well my name is Alex, and for some reason my user folder is named Oles, when I login it's Alex... SO how do I fix this?

I don't know if you can change it.

Oles is the name you set up as your short name during setup, and Alex is the long name (the one that will be asked to confirm all admin actions) you set uo during installation.

You could fix it by creating a new user, or maybe via Terminal.

Proceed with caution

 Renaming your home directory through Terminal may be a good way to loose all your settings.

You would also have to use the Netinfo (/Applications/Utilities/NetInfo) tool to edit the location of your home directory.

And if you still want to go ahead: Use a different account to make the changes otherwise you may end having to boot off the installation disk. Taking a backup first would be wise too.

Maybe just change your name by deed poll :p
