how do i format my external HDD for mac AND windows?

for those who need to write mac file into NTFS ext hdd , try to use app for mac called " NTFS-3G " cause my seagate ext hdd is in NTFS format , and it work perfect i can write all my Mac hdd from my MBP , into my ext hdd using NTFS-3G withouth any limit file size .
