iPad How do I get a (large) video off an older iPad (iOS 12.5)?

Hey there! So... My aunt has an older iPad. I think it's the original iPad Air. The latest iOS it can run is 12.5.7.

She recorded a long video (like 90+ minutes) of my great aunt talking about her escape from communism and a bunch of other family stuff - important video. Now it's stuck on this old iPad. When we try to Airdrop it to a newer iPad, it basically times out. It never gets past the processing phase. What's the best way to get this video off the iPad? Thank you!

Before you cut it up, try opening a Dropbox account and try to upload it there. Since iPad is running iOS 12 I don’t think you will be able to use the Dropbox app. Do it directly on the web.

Do you have a Mac available? If you connect the iPad to a Mac and open the Image Capture app on the Mac, then you can easily download any photo or video from the iPad.
