Hi I have a iPhone 4S and I need my warrenty back I asked Apple and they say no matter what I do the jailbreak will always be there but i need a way to make this jailbreak completely undetectable so apple will never no.

OR... they made note of him bringing it in jailbroken, and now even if he restores they have him flagged in that store (I don't think they have a nationwide store-to-store system yet, but I'll ask).

They can (and will) make it a point to punish those who bring in a jailbroken phone as it technically voids the warranty (i.e. they don't say "it's only void if you don't restore it before bringing it in").

While it's true you can hide your tracks, if you were dumb enough to bring a jailbroken phone in for work they have more than enough ability to make note of it just in case you try to cover your tracks later...

They bs'ed you.
Next time remember to bring it in restored to stock firmware and setup as new.
Nothing they can detect that way.

Restore it.
Sell it. Be honest with buyer about the warranty, after all it can't have that much warranty remaining.
Buy a different phone.

Yeah, its amazing how many folks are under the belief that you can't restore the iPhone to stock after jailbreaking... its friggin' just software, folks.

They'd have to get your name AND your phone's serial number otherwise you could always claim you have two phones.

Very unlikely they'll bother to keep track of this stuff.

If they cant prove right then and there it is/was jailbroken they won't start a pointless argument with a customer.
