how do i get my applications folder back into my home?

I tried to drag it to the dock and it disapeared by accident. How do I get my applications folder back into the home folder, and on that bar on the left hand side of the HD window? Thanks!

nvm, just dragged it from the root folder to the side bar, i think that works.
