I got a new iPhone so I gave my old 3Gs to a family member.

We restored it and set it up as a new phone in iTunes on his computer. It has iOS6.

We used Microsoft Exchange to import his contacts from Gmail. They are all now on his phone.

But i can't get them to show up in iCloud on his PC. Just one contact is there. I've tried everything and wasted a whole day searching for solutions. I enable iCloud on his phone, set up the iCloud account and installed iCloud on his Windows 7 PC

I thought this was just supposed to happen automatically? When I set up my phone with iCloud the first time it was so easy, I simply followed the prompts, and everything just worked.

They finally showed up!

The next day the contacts finally appeared. I played around with the settings, a little, telling it to sync with iCloud, Exchange, etc. I can't be sure which setting adjustment, if any worked.
