The bigger question is who gets to sleep into 8:46?

    LOL

Upgrade to iOS 5. Go to Settings -> Notifications and make sure the built-in weather app is in the notifications center (but I think it is by default... it was for me, and I hadn't used the weather app in ages, preferring TWC).

If you are on an iPad it does not exist. It ties in to the weather app which is not on the iPad.

    I have iOS 5, obviously.

Weather is on notifications, still don't have it.

It does not work on 3GS?

It does - I have it on mine.

People seem to have lots of oddities with getting notification center working right, though. There are other threads where stuff doesn't seem to work for people. If Weather widget is already under the "In notification center" section, then try launching the weather app and seeing if it asks you for permission to let it use notifications -- see if hitting the "allow" button fixes it.

Erm, when the phone is unlocked, put your finger on the top bar where the time and the signal bars are, and swipe down.

I saw the weather notification only this morning in the way to work. Otherwise I don't see weather on the notification window.

Any way to get the hourly weather?

Somewhere in all of the Siri vids I've looked at in the last few days there was a weather widget that showed the predicted weather hourly for the next 6-8 hours.

jut touch the screen where the weather is and drop down will open up and show you hourly forecast.
