Do I have to upgrade my computer to OSX El Captain to be able to get the new emojis? or am I missing something? Also, what are some of your thoughts on OSX El Captain upgrade?

I'm one person - works awesome. I mean 10.11.1 provides those emojis. But so did 10.10.x and 10.9.x and 10.8.x and 10.7.x

It works fine on my rMBP. I'm sure some folks are still complaining about lag, but even though it's there it doesn't bother me.

I've got the 3.1GHz i7 and it seems fine to me. All of the complaints I've seen seem to be around re-sizing or moving windows, which admittedly isn't smooth. I don't care though, because re-sizing and moving windows isn't the main function of my rMBP.

Thanks. I also did a lot of searching before I found that they are also under the edit menu in any app.

You're welcome. I knew they were somewhere else but I couldn't remember where.
