Everything I found so far is “It just works, wait 5 days”

I’ve been probably ten days now ….

Under all data for wrist temp it still says No Data.

I have to be missing something simple/obvious.

It only works when you are in sleep focus I think.

I checked again now, I still have the Sleep schedule setup from when I first started using the Watch.

It alerts me every night, wakes me up every day ….

in iphone Watch app I’ve had Privacy allowed for Wrist Temp

You’ll need to setup Sleep

I don't have Sleep setup (no automatic schedule) and I get wrist temperature data. But apparently only when I remember to put my watch in Sleep Focus at night. Since I got my Series 9, I'm missing data three nights in a row where I didn't activate Sleep Focus.

I finally found something that might be it:

iphone - health - sleep - full schedule and options

i had only sleep schedule selected. I also now selected ’use schedule for sleep focus’

another five days? Lol

I’m in a similar limbo in that I think I’ve ticked every box and turned on every setting possible for Wrist Temperature but still no data appearing. Could Apple possibly have made this any more complicated to set up?

I had to set sleep schedule (for all 7 days because I have vastly different schedules and sleep times on dialysis and non dialysis days), and set sleep focus to schedule....and then it just started recording the wrist temperature. Apparently, only 1 more day to go and I can dig into the temperature using Health on my iPhone. I get ear and/or mouth temperature recorded @ dialysis.

For ***** and giggles I'm going to buy

SmartPill™ Motility Capsule

There's others that track temperature, heart rate, respiration, etc but the above is the only one I can source and afford.

I bought the Renpho Smart Scale from Amazon and should have it on Friday, January 12th. I already have unsmart scales but I wanted one that is Apple Health compatible and did-bone density and body water determinations. Additionally, nice graphs which can display trends and tendencies. I can printout the graphs and bring them in for grand rounds.

Body weight in dialysis is broken down into dry and wet body weight. Dry body weight is your measurement after the dialytic procedure when fluid and toxins/metabolites are removed. Wet weight is what you actually weigh when you come into dialysis, but before the procedure. Periodically your dry weight gets reassigned depending on actual non water body weight changes.

Body water is important b/c then I’ll know when I’ve gotta start laying off the coffee (free fluid intake allowed is ~36 oz per day).

Bone density will allow me (or more properly the dialysis team) when I have to take more Phosphorus binder (basically if you overdo it on phosphorus/phosphate containing foods it strips Calcium from your bones, and then SNAP, next thing you know, a broken bone of some kind).

Long story short - it’s another tool to help monitor an ongoing issue.

(I do not want a transplant until after I turn 65, b/c then I would have to go back to work and that would mean I would have to start euthanizing animals again - and pardon my language but **** that ****)

Once you get it going you'll probably be disappointed as it report deviations from your base reading. My is usually +/- .75 deg F. Not actual body temp. You'll have to dig into the source data to find the actual measurements.

Although after I got my first shingles shot, the following two nights I did feel feverish and it recorded +2.3 and +2.0 (low grade fever, around 99.5)
