Go to Youtube.com in Safari, press the + at the bottom of the screen and add to homescreen. From the mobile site YouTube you have the option to choose HQ videos

You can also use 3G Unrestrictor in Cydia or My 3G in Rock

I have the option to flag, add to playlist, favorite, but no HQ

Can someone just post a screenshot so I know where to look? I feel like a special student right now

That's because you're probably trying to watch a music video. Videos that DON'T have the HQ button means that can't be played at all. These videos also won't play in the YouTube app, either.

Ok thanx, and I always wondered that, why does YouTube get rid of all music videos when mobile?

Because then you wouldn't buy the music videos from iTunes and digital licensing rights. More the latter.

You can use 3g unrestrictor or My3G (Both paid apps) so you get HD on youtube.app or you can just use the webapp from google and get the same result
