I recently purchased a cheap little camera off of e-bay. When I plug it in to my mac, it says that it is not readable (or something of that sort). I read the manual for the camera and it said that I need to install two drivers that they provided on a CD. One is called AkResData.Bin and the other is Magin.bin. I currently have those files on sitting on my desktop, now where, and how do I install them?

Are you sure those are OS X drivers? Typically *.bin are Windows files.

Did you try to goto the manufacturers website?

no manf. website, like i said, this camera is super cheap, i'm using it for student research. the cd that came with the camera is on a cd-r disc, lol, it's that bad. if i double click the .bin files, they are archived as a .cpgz file, does that mean anything?

i just tried it in the stuffit expander that you referred me to. it says that the file is con compressed or encoded.

there is no card, it's internal memory (4gb).
this thing is such a headache.

okay, nevermind. I got pissed off last night and broke the camera in half. may it rest in pieces.
