    Hey Guys!

I'm having trouble installing a screensaver and I'm hoping you can help.

I've downloaded the screensaver and the file is saved to my desktop. The download was a .exe file, but I've changed it to .saver. I've dragged the file into the screensavers folder in my library. I went into system preferences/desktop and screensavers and the file shows up with the rest of the screensavers. When I click on it to activate it, an error message pops up and says "CouldNotLoad_ArchMisMatch"

    What am I doing wrong???

    Thanks :)

I am not a Mac expert but I would say that you are trying to run a Windows program on the Mac side of the computer.

    Yeah, THAT'LL work.

EXE files cannot be run on a Mac in any way, shape, or form (shut up, Cider proponents...).

What's wrong with the Apple site or this one for your screensavory (ha, ha, food pun) needs?

The error message "CouldNotLoad_ArchMisMatch" should say it all - architecture mismatch, meaning it will not run. Converting a windows program to run under Mac OSx is never simple; it's far easier to just get an OSx version.
