On my desk I have a Mac Studio running latest Ventura. I use that as a third monitor for my M1 MBP running the same version of Ventura. My problem is that when the Studio goes to sleep and needs to be woken up (after lunch for example) the MBP needs a reboot as well to mouse sharing and screen extension to work.
I have set "Turn display off when inactive" to never and "Start Screen Saver" to 10 minutes but the monitor still turns off and the machine goes to sleep (pulsing LED on front). Where should I look?
Monitor is a Philips 258B6QU connected over USB-C/TB.

Although there might be a delay, you should not need to do this. I have the same setup and after a short while, the systems connect.
I would turn off the Link feature in the Advanced settings of the Display panel on both systems, reboot them, and try again.
