How do I keep "stock footage" from a previous session to re-use later in iMovie?

I post a weekly video, and only some of it needs to be fresh every week. The rest of it is "stock footage," of a sort, that is a voice-over with a keynote slide.

If I've got that footage already, but it's part of an existing project, where do I put it in iMovie so that I can come back to it for next time?

It will still be in the the iMovie Library which is shown in the Sidebar in the main iMovie window under the My Media tab.

Thanks; I generally only keep one project there at a time, so I'll have to see what that looks like for me.
