I can't wait until my iPhone is pulling those speeds. And at this point I believe it's going to be sooner rather then later. :D
I don't think those speeds will be around once the iPhone goes LTE.
Verizon's LTE used to be pretty fast until they started getting a lot of users.
It pretty much cut their average speed in half once there was a "normal" load on their network.
I suspect the same will happen to AT&T's LTE network.
Right now they only have three phones (Vivid, Nitro and the Skyrocket) that work with it.
Granted, 20+ Mb/s is still pretty decent.

Point well taken! But then again, I'll take 15Mb/s and still be thrilled.

It sounds great...but is it going to be worth it? The apps that take advantage of that speed (mostly streaming video) each up data so quickly that people who are worrying about throttling (like the OP) are more likely to hit the threshold every month.

It's like having a car that can go 80 miles an hour instead of twenty....but you can only drive it 50 miles a month.
