Haha yeah, that would be a little bit of a drive! I definitely should have looked at your location first!
Anyway, I did find a good AASP in Atlanta and they were a little too busy to diagnose it while I waited but the service rep did say that there's a very good chance it is the GPU like I suspected. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that that's the problem (and therefor covered by apple) and not something else!
