I just upgraded my iMac and MacBook Pro to El Capitan, but I am a little confused as the experience was different. On the iMac, I went into App Store and clicked on the upgrade button. I got a status bar telling me how long the download would take. Once that was over the upgrade went pretty smooth. In the end I saw a new desktop picture and got a notification "What's New in OS X El Capitan". Pretty much normal. On the MacBook Pro there was no status bar for the download. Ok, that's fine. The upgrade seemed to go off ok. But when it was done it was all very uneventful. My desktop still had the picture from Yosemite, and there was no "What's New in OS X El Capitan". Is there any way to make sure the upgrade went ok on the MBP? Is the difference in experience anything to worry about? Thanks!
