I just got my new iPhone 12 Pro today and I used the Quick Start option to transfer over all my data from my iPhone 7 to the new 12 Pro. It all seemed to work, I see all my contacts, apps, music, settings etc on the new phone, but whenever I turn on the screen on the iPhone 7 it says "Transferring data to iPhone. Keep your other iPhone nearby and connected to power until the transfer is complete." But there is no countdown left. A couple hours ago it said "5 minutes remaining," but then now all it says is the Data transferring message. Will it say when it's complete?

eta: Hmm, OK actually when I unlock it it still says "5 minutes remaining." It's said that for hours... Guess I'll wait a bit and see?

Thanks. I guess I'll just let it continue overnight. It's been saying "5 minutes remaining" for over 5 hours now, but it looks like everything is on the new phone.

In my past experience, the time estimate is fubar. Although, in my case, it usually finished more quickly than indicated.

Currently having this problem... the new iPhone seems to work fine and I see all my apps/contacts etc. Watch is paired. But it says on my old one 4 minutes remaining and it has been that way for 5 hours. Should I wait it our or did you cancel or restart your old phone?

I ended up just hitting Cancel on the old phone after it was stuck like that for 7+ hours, it seems like everything worked, I’ve been using it since then and everything seems fine.
