How do i Locate a Network Attached Harddrive?

I just attached a 1 TeraByte Harddrive to my Linksys Wireless Router
with a USB connection.

How do i locate the harddrive on the network to use it as a NAS ?

There should be install software that came with it. I just hooked up a 1 TB iomega cloud storage today and the install disc is what you need.

ok, well, i just bought a normal Western Digital USB Harddrive....

Can't you turn that into a NAS drive ?
or does it have to be a special NAS harddrive?

Now that I'm not sure. You should be able to do that, plug it into the router directly and see if it shows up as a share drive.
