I forget right now it it's + or - (it's burning right now), but anyways:

I just burned something to a DVD RW (I had nothing else available). I never want that DVD to be erased, and though it's very unlikely someone will erase it, I want to be sure. How do I lock this DVD? Can I use Disk Utility or do I need something special?

Thanks

EDIT: It's a Fujifilm 2x DVD-RW Single Layer (4.7 GB).

Allright, the material I burned was a .dmg and .txt file. Can I simply copy them from the DVD-RW to my desktop, create a new burning folder, and then burn them to a recordable DVD?

there shouldn't be any problems really - if you really want an exact copy of the dvd you could make yet another cd image of the whole disc - using toast / disc image utility - but shouldn't really be needed.
