I found the setting in Preferences to lower it and that was not a problem at all Im sure . Then it reverted to the higher setting after just an hours time . I dont know why ! I want it low for my Mac computer so I can employ it well .

How Do I Lower Macs Volume So It Stays Low Because Thats Only Good With Headphones?

Ehhh nevermind it gets higher when I set the volume higher . I thought it was a second adjustment to the volume . Im still searching if I can bring up my headphones without a problem .
Ive just got to listen to CDs that I painfully transfer to my good Mac I love that I can do that and adjust the volume a second time .
Are you talking about when you plug in headphones, the volume changes to whatever, and then when you unplug them, they change to another setting? It's designed to remember what the volumes were set to in either occasion.
