General How do I make a custom keyboard on a iphone 3gs? (jailbroken)

I am looking to make a custom keyboard for one of the Karen languages. I am making the characters and the keyboard size and layout. How big of a project would this be? I know a little html and if you have a base keyboard that i could build off of that would be amazing. I am looking to install through Cydia so how would I get it on a repo? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Unfortunately you'd need to know a bit more than HTML. I'd recommend asking over on stackoverflow or iFans - this place isn't too helpful when looking for dev help, imho.

There are a few similar posts there but there were no helpful answers there. I'll wait and see what others say. I learn quickly so a template would be awesome. Thanks anyway.
