How do i make Firefox my default browser?

When i open click on a link in mail.app or adium, it opens up safari.

I want to make firefox my default browser as it its faster and much than safari

Go into the firefox preferences and then the advanced tab.
At the bottom just click where it says make firefox default browser.

Another method is when Safari is open the Safari menu, preferences, and then the General section. At the top is the pulldown for default browser.
