A family member just upgraded from an iPad 3 > iPad Air 2. Both are running iOS 8.1.3 but on iPad Air 2, we noticed that when a key is pressed on the onscreen keyboard, it doesn't visually indicate when the key is being tapped Normally on iPad, a key will become a darker gray color to indicate it is being tapped, or on iPhone the keys pop up.

I couldn't find anything that seemed relevant in Settings>General>Keyboard. This is all with the stock Apple on-screen keyboard, no 3rd party keyboards are installed. I've attached a screenshot from my iPad Mini's keyboard demonstrating what I'm talking about (the desired result).

Does anyone know how to enable this function again? Any help is greatly appreciated.
