I've made the mistake numerous times of accidentally pressing apple Q instead of apple W to close a tab. This then closes the Safari application and away goes all the links I've saved up to read at another time which becomes very frustrating. Anyone know how to make Safari warn me before quitting like Mozilla Firefox?

It happens to me on numerous occasions too, ofcourse not intentionally. :D

Try using this little freeware Taboo. It's a Safari plugin that adds warning before quitting/closing a window with multiple tabs.

Thanks for the link, fayans – it's something I do more than I'd like to admit, usually when I've been composing a lengthy and insightful reply to a post...
We all did one time or the other! ;)

Wish we could change the shortcuts. Could we?
