I have some .mov files with timecode tracks referenced in them. Imovie picks them up no problem but FCE doesn't appear to recognise the extra track. But I believe according to the manual at least that it ought to. I wondered if its a question of my preferences or settings in that the extra track is not "turned on". Does anyone know how to do this, or a way to make it possible?

    Thanks

    yay!!!

you're right, I just found it here http://web.mac.com/piero.fiorani/PieroF_FCE_Effect/FCE_Timecode_Display.html - and what's more its a FREEEEEEE (for once, something for free!) plug-in, I'm doing the whole "da dahh!" give-myself-a-high-five thing and whooping around the room. This little diddy just saved me hours!!

Thanks mac forums where would i be without you!! (i'm nearly up to my 20 posts, will that mean I'll no longer be a "newbie"??) :)
