I had some jailbreaking and ios4 issues tonight and installed SBSettings and it removed all of my apps from the springboard even though it said they were still on my phone. I backed up my phone and then restored and set the phone up as new. However, all of my contacts are missing.

I know they're saved on my computer. How do I manually get itunes to point to the folder that my backups are in. Right clicking only gives me the most recent backups after the restore, but I know I have older ones on my computer.

Please help!!! All my contacts are gone and I don't know what to do. Thanks.

Hold shift, click restore, search for your backup via explorer when it pops up. Let me know if that works

Thanks! Anyone know how to do it on a mac? The files overwrote themselves when I upgraded on a pc, but I still have the original files on my mac.

Just put the backup on a flash drive to use on the pc 😉

I think on a Mac you might be able to with one of the control buttons(command?)+click restore, but i'm not sure which one
