A real Mac newbie here. How do I map a network drive? I am on a small LAN and I need to be able to see NAS unit. I am fluent in Windows network management but clueless here. Also, I like Windows Explorer, where I can see all drives. What is the analog in Mac speak?

Does your NAS support AFP? if so enable it and it will show up in your Finder. if not then you can do Command+K in the Finder and type
smb://serverip/share

that will connect it. if you want this to happen at startup add this to your startup items in your user account in settings.
