How do i move from my old 2G to new 3GS?

So my new 3Gs has arrived. There are no instructions on how I move from my old phone to new phone...
Do I just swap the sim card?

You can swap SIM cards if you want, but don't have to. Just plug the iPhone into iTunes and it'll walk you through activation and stuff.
