How do I move the Imovie screeen?

I'm beginner using Imovie on Imac. I put the tranistion between the images. How do I change the transation to hear the transition longer?

There are plenty of good tutorials for this kind of stuff in YouTube... here's the first video that I found when searching YouTube for "iMovie transitions"... seems to cover it pretty thoroughly.
