You don't want a patent, you want an NDA.

See a lawyer.

+1

if you believe your Idea is really good you need a patent lawyer to make sure you don't screw up a patent. it will be quite expensive though if it is even possible to patent/copyright your app.

there is nothing wrong with asking this question here despite the usual 50% unfriendly responses that you get here for every type of question. however legal stuff needs to be done by a lawyer.

And why not? It is considered a design patent. If you can patent the look and feel of your restaurant (which you damn well can), you can patent a logo.

You can't place "Yahoo" or "Google"'s logo on anything that you are selling.

Yeah I know, everyone here "IS" english teachers...

No, everyone here speaks English well enough to properly express themselves. Don't blame everyone else for not understanding your poorly worded question if you already knew that you couldn't just patent an idea.

Also, there are NDA templates out there online but it is still a good idea to review your NDA with a lawyer to make sure you didn't miss anything.
