I have created two ts files and have tried VLC player to play them. It doesn't! All I get is a pixelated screen with mostly green. I've search and searched. I can't get anywhere except this link http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=199762
Which doesn't supply an answer. I tried the recommendation of the dvd player. My last resort is to burn them in toast and then see what they look like.

    Any suggestions?

I would open up DVD Player (the free app that comes installed in OS X). Then drag the video TS folder into DVD Player. Or, from DVD Player you can go File> Open> and select the video TS folder.

    That works for me. :)

Strange, I use VLC to play all my .ts files, and plays them perfectly.
