My son needs to borrow my iPad Air for the next two weeks. I am worried he might loose it (ADD). How do I protect it to prevent loss of personal information. I'll set up the password of course, is there anything else I can do?

I would remove any personal information you deem valuable. Also, make sure Find My iPad is activated.

Same here. I'd just do a backup to both iTunes and iCloud then do a full factory reset and just set it up as new before giving it to the kid (just create a separate account for him and add it to Family Share). And of course, Find My iPad is a must.

Thanks.

I should have known this but in all the hurry my mind went blank. Whew.

Trust your loving son I am sure he will take care of your precious iPad. I know you love him so much so don't worry. Be happy. :apple:

I would trust him too but there are people in the world that would take advantage of him and you iPad. Removing all your info is a great idea.
