I am aware it came with 2 CDs and was wondering how I go about reformatting it and if the process is any different from a PC. Thanks

How do I reformat a Macbook Pro?

Boot from the install disk and open Disk Utility from menu bar. Simply erase the HD and then install OS X, it's very simple. Keep in mind that it erases everything so remember to backup your data
