I have a Mac g4 MDD that I am selling and I need to reformat so I can sell, any ideas on how to do this? I didnt see any other thread so I thought this thread would be good for 2 reasons lol

if you boot off any os x install disk you can open disk utility from one of the menus and format the drive. They will then have to install OS X on their own.

Your best bet is to stick in the installation DVDs and do a full restore. Not an archive and install, just reinstall the OS.

When you reformat, it might be a good idea to write zeros to the drive as well, since you'll be selling it to someone.

Thanks I have found the disk and it is in process 58 minutes left....I totally thought there were more steps to it
