How do I register my iPhone in my name?

I got my iPhone 4 from Craigslist, but whenever I go to the Apple Store to have it checked out, the paperwork lists the previous owner's name and address, etc. Is there anyway I can change it to my information?

connect it in recovery mode and set it up as a new device.

You will have to contact Apple so they can change the owners information they have on file for the phone.

Guys that's not what he's asking.
It's the info Apple has on file on that iPhone with the previous owners name, address, email etc...
