Contact Apple they should be able to help you. Explain what happened and they will probably send you another set of resinstall disks.

You guys do realize that the MacBook Air has no optical drive?

I think you could simply download the Lion Recovery Disk Assistant, and make a recovery disk with it from a friend's Mac (if you can). If not, go to the Apple store, they'll fix it!

I think the earlier Macbook Air computers came with a reinstall CD for Snow Leopard. You have to use remote disk to install it: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2129.

No, they came with SL on a USB flash drive

You'll need to use another computer to either

1) create an installation drive
2) use the net install

Or, call apple and they may send you a USB drive

@everyone else, I think what he was saying is that they deleted the recover partition and that it did not come with anything to reinstall.

No, they came with SL on a USB flash drive

The pre-2010 airs came with a DVD.
