I've heard people doing this to speed up their Mac. How would I do this? All of a sudden my iMac got really slow. I've tried everything from repairing disk permissions, getting rid of old files, etc. I've only had it for about a year and don't do much on it other than surf the internet, iTunes, and iPhoto. I use Safari for my browser and have 2GB of memory with a lot of free space. My internet provider came out to my house the other day to check on my connection and it was perfect, I even upgraded my speed for my modem. I'm also currently using Time Capsule for my router. thanks for any help.

put the install disc that came with your machine into the drive, open the disc on your desktop, then restart using the button on the disc window 😉 leave for a while, hey presto 😉
