Other How do I remove duplicate MACbook from iPhone?

Hello,
I've been having problems with iMessage on my MBP and my new iPhone X S MAX. It shows 2 mac book pros on my phone. Anyone know how to remove them? Also anyone know is there a known issue right now with iMessage not working on OSX 10.14 and 12.0

Log into AppleID and change your password. Once you log in with your new password on your phone, the old device should be gone from the list.

Edited to add: If you upgraded to Mojave without logging out on your phone first, that is why you see 2 MBP.
