How do I rotate a clip in Quicktime?

Hello,
I have some video that I took that's .mov and I want to rotate it left. I have Quicktime Version 10.2 (603.17). I go EDIT / ROTATE LEFT and then the screen just goes black and nothing happens.

Go into iPhoto and find your picture and do the edits in there and then move it back to quicktime.

Photoshop can also handle video clips, and you can also do this effect with Photoshop.
