Hello all, I have been searching but I can't find the way to look up my screen (LG or Samsung) on my new 2013 Haswell MacBook Pro 15" Can you post how to look it up? Thanks

Open Terminal and paste this and press enter (install Xcode package when prompted if you don't have it)

ioreg -lw0 | grep \"EDID\" | sed "/[^<]*</s///" | xxd -p -r | strings -6

thanks, all looks good so far. No creaking, uniform lighting. Screen looks good, battery life good. Very happy so far 🙂
