i just wanna open up mail and check out my email..i tried to set it up but, no luck..anyone that can help?

I don't use it, but some have had success with the httpmail plugin
For others it has been hit or miss
Performance with gmail or yahoo seems to much more reliable
If you do a search on "httpmail" with MRoogle you will find several helpful discussions

httpmail only works with older accounts, or so i am told. MS disabled the functionality on newer accounts.

switch to gmail. there's themes, sms texting, video chat, im chat, etc. so much better than everything other email provider out there except mobileme. but, i think you could forward your email and set your mail to that forwarded address.
