How do I set up the email on iPhone for a university email address?

how do i add my email? i have tried to add it to my iphone but it keeps coming up with the SSL.

Johnson & Wales university

It looks like your university is using Outlook Live as the email server. There are not instruction provided by your university. However, another university using Outlook Live also provided instructions to set up your iPhone:

For those of you with uni accounts through gmail. Have you all tried enabling IMAP? I enabled IMAP whilst logged into my Uni/Gmail settings and then did the rest on my iPhone as a normal gmail acount but all details were my uni ones.

Add new acc - Gmail - in address bar ***@myuni.ac.uk (not@gmail.com)
It's working perfectly now but didn't before I enabled IMAP.

Why wouldn't you just contact your university IT dept?

Have you considered giving their IT Department a call or an email and asking them that question? They would be in the best position to supply you with the proper system names, port numbers and protocol to use.

Yep. Some Uni departments are even creating a profile you can download with all the details.
