Ok, I have a massive mp3 collection on my PC. I have a tiny hard drive on my mac laptop. I have mounted my collection of mp3's to the mac via smb.

However, when I play the mp3's in iTunes, it first copies the mp3 over to my local hard drive in the iTunes music directory, then it plays.

Shouldn't there be some sort of temp directory in mac? I don't want mp3 files to be copied over, I just want the music to be streaming, I want to save hard drive space on my mac.
