Hi!

Suddenly my backspace button has stopped working. Restarting or running Windows XP doesn't help a thing.

Is it possible to use the right shift button as a backspace-button, you know changing what the keys do. It's quite irritating not being able to delete stuff.

What I'd like: To use my right shift key instead of the backspace.

I've got a white Macbook running Leopard.

Thank you so much :)

Try repairing Disk Permissions first

/Applications/Utilites/Disk Utility
-Select your main HD partition
-First Aid, Repair Disk Permissions

Report back after doing that.

EDIT: Just reread the post. The problem sounds physical, perhaps the button mechanism or button connection. If you're feeling up to it, you can try taking the key out and fiddling with it to see if you can get it working then.
