I want to bypass my tethering allowance. How do I transfer any file from my mac laptop to my iphone for upload?

Install a simple file manager such as GoodReader or Documents. Then, try to open those files using Google Drive or some other apps. This might help.

You can transfer files through iTunes from the Mac to the app when the phone is plugged in with USB.

Once it's on the phone you can either email it from the app or you can link the app to services like Dropbox.

You can always use iTunes to transfer files to those apps.
